My name is Joana and I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and delivering safe, natural and bespoke treatments.

I started my professional journey in Management Consulting (2019-2024), working on projects re-designing operating models, (essentially helping organisations structure their teams and re-design processes to function more efficiently), while completing a BA degree in Management Practice (2019-2023).

In 2020, I simultaneously delved into the world of aesthetics, initially as JSK Aesthetics, and after 5.5 years rebranded to Skendo Clinic to reflect my long-term vision for a premium, client-focused clinic. I’ve been performing treatments consistently since then, expanding on my skills and techniques. Now I also study an MSc in Nursing (2025-2027) - reflecting my commitment to stay ahead of evolving regulations and deliver care safely and ethically. Seeing the business grow exponentially has now influenced me to broaden my services and share my knowledge with others through teaching.

Outside of work, I enjoy figure skating, trying new food and travelling to new places. I believe in bringing the same thoughtfulness and care to my treatments as I do in everyday life. My aim is to make every client feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their choices, whether it’s their first treatment or their tenth; or whether they are coming to learn and transfer new skills into their own professional aesthetics practice.
